How dreary! This is not one of Charm City's finer days, but it's important to note that every day should be a bag-looking day. This little lady was found snapping and shifting in gusts of wind on a dark and wet day in Baltimore. I was probably a little wet and cold venturing out to take this photo, but even in her bleakness, this bag was worth capturing on film.
So what is the lesson, here? Sacrifices must be made for BIT. Period.

NYC just passed a law that all big chain stores which use plastic bags must provide recycling services for those bags. Here is a NY times article on the subject. It may mean the end of "bags in trees" here. Someone (meaning you, Rissa!) should come up here and do a picture essay before and after the law goes into effect.
