CC: York Rd Chik-Fil-A

ChikFilAonYork
While driving through one of my favorite fast food eateries, I spotted a bag perched in a sad looking little tree. As steady as she seemed to be, there were too many wires and cars nearby for me to feel optimistic about her longevity. Determined not to intervene with nature, I can only hold out hope for her safety.

In case you and I have the same tastes for food and wildlife, you can click here for your own personal drive thru viewing.

Another beautiful example of this creature's survival, today's bag has seen some better days. Now only a memory of what she once was, she has likely persevered many rain, snow and wind storms... so many that they have left her somewhat tattered and weary. But how grateful we are for her steadfastness, so that we can bear witness to her pure resolution!

Guest BIT: S Conkling St & Boston St

NattyBagBird
Our latest Guest BIT comes to us from the Natty Boh buildings in East Canton. The photographer has asked to remain mysteriously anonymous, but this is what he had to say about his lucky find:

"My company recently moved to the newly renovated Natty Boh Tower and I was shocked to have spotted a bag bird so early in our time here. It's only been about 5 months since we moved in, but already there appears to at least one bag bird nesting right in the middle of the campus by the visitor parking.

Man, you should have seen her flapping! Breathtaking and inspirational. Even better, she's still perched high and proud this morning. I've named her the Natty Bag Bird."

CC: S Conkling St & Bank St

And we're back! The staff at BIT apologizes for our unplanned hiatus, but between new jobs, new travels and a broken down laptop... we were unable to keep to our goal of three bags per week.

Now that life has calmed down a bit, we're starting back up with a two bag per week goal. So please come back and visit regularly. Thank you for hanging in there with us!

There's no better way to come back with a bang than to capture an image of a bag on a sunny, winter day. Photos of bags in trees (BIT) during the winter months can be so dreary, so what a treat it is to snap a picture of a BIT basking in the morning sun!

CC: York Rd & Padonia Rd

York&Padonia
Here is another lucky shot taken from my car, although this photo was not taken at a red light. Instead, I risked life and limb to slow down just long enough to snap a decent photo.

Just one more photo from our Baltimore County series... our passion is the city, but we would never neglect BIT appreciation in the county.

It's not an easy intersection to visit, but click HERE if you'd like to attempt a drive-by.

AG: 616 York Rd - Prospect Hill Cemetery

Forgive us but we can't go long without John Waters references here at BIT. This beacon of trash was spotted while searching for the "Pope of Trash"'s late partner in crime, Divine.

Divine is buried in this Towson cemetery and this special bag serves as a guide on the way to his plot. Click here for directions.
